STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

Training the Next Generation

of Preservation Leaders

Hands-on learning opportunities

By working directly with communities on a variety of projects and services, the Heritage Area trains the next generation in the skills they need to compete for jobs nationally and to place students into impactful careers. To achieve this mission, we partner with communities to interpret and promote their heritage assets through education, research, and preservation with student support and participation. Balancing programmatic coursework with real-world experiences, our students gain the necessary practical and theoretical experience necessary to be successful in the field.
